More info

I am a Year 3 student currently studying Media Post Production.Ever since I was 13 years old, I was hooked to anime and music. That was when I discovered Anime Music Videos (AMVs). I absolutely fell in love with it. Goes without saying that AMVs kicked off my love and passion for video editing (specifically motion graphics).Around 3 years later, I discovered the world of VTubers. I especially love watching clips of them. The over-the-top editing with fast paced visuals and eye-catching subtitle animation. Through this I realised that there was more to video editing and was drawn into it.Now, I have a burning passion for video editing with a side of motion graphics....then, I got hungry for more and decided to gave Blender a try.

帰り道 (Kaerimichi)
[cover by Komo Dokueki] (V4Mirai)

This is my latest MV project! This is a more simple MVs compared to other MV I made. For this project, I focussed more on compositing. The song Kaerimichi is from an old anime opening and with that in mind, I tried to replicate the old anime look. A lot of adjustment layers was used to colour grade and composite everything together. I also relied on NTSC.rs for the CRT/Analogue and tape degradation old anime have. I used Blender for the classrooms scenes. Most of the 3D shots were rendered in layers and keyframed in After Effects instead of just moving the 3D camera in Blender. This, again, is to replicate how old animation was made in which different layers of cell was used to make the foreground, middle ground, and background.Extremely happy to be able to work with Komo again for the last time. A lot of extra care and attention went into this MV as this is Komo Dokueki's last MV/video ever.

Not much modelling this time but I did use a bit of Blender for some of the scenes. This is also the project where I dived more into colour grading and compositing my 3D animations. As Miss Komo is the president of V4Mirai's film club, I try to base the MV on film, plays, and script.Super blessed to have the opportunity to make this MV for Miss Komo!

Unmei [cover by Paige Terner] (V4Mirai)

My 2nd MV project!
Super lucky to be able to make this MV as part of the lovely Paige Terner's debut!
It was a challenge to model and make Paige Terner low-poly while keeping her charm. I learned basic Geometry Node to help make the environment. Also, paid close attention to animation to show Paige's silly personality in the MV.Really, really thankful that Paige Terner entrust me to make her debut MV!

Carbonated Love [cover by shyfruits]

My very first big 3D animation and MV project!
This is shyfruits' wonderful cover of Carbonated Love by IRyS!
I also worked on the motion graphic lyrics part of the video! In the end, this project taught me a lot about 3D in general. Again, huge thanks to shyfruits for giving me the chance to work on this!!!

A ZV-E10 animation made for a school assignment. The camera was modelled in Autodesk Maya and textured, animated, and rendered in Blender. My first time trying product showcase animation.

Just a simple die animation entirely made in Blender. Was trying to level up my cinematic lighting in this one.

Pokeball

Really simple Pokeball. Modelled and textured in Blender.

This was one of my earliest work. I was playing with camera animation.
